What we do
Services for coastal and tropical gardens
Five kinds of work, one crew. Each starts with a walk-through and ends with a written scope.

Design and planting
A plan drawn for your exposure, then planted by our own crew.
A planting plan with plant sizes
Soil, mulch and edging
Staking where the wind calls for it
Drip lines connected before the first watering

Palm and tree care
Thinning and cleaning for palms and shade trees, done by our own climbers.
Dead fronds and dead wood removed
Mature coconuts taken down from palms we trim
Thinning, not topping
Large trees checked against county protections first

Irrigation and drainage
Drip lines and a timer set for the plants we put in, and downspouts sent into planting beds where the site allows.
Drip zones by plant type
A controller set to the season
Drains and swales cleared before heavy rain

Lanai, courtyard and podium gardens
Beds and containers for shade, reflected heat and wind funneling between buildings.
Plants chosen for the light that reaches the space
Containers sized for the wind
Deck and podium work with the building engineer’s go-ahead

Garden care
Scheduled visits to prune, feed, mulch and watch for trouble, so a new planting gets through its first year.
Pruning shaped to each plant
Mulch kept back from trunks
Irrigation checked on every visit
Notes sent after each visit
From call to finished garden
How a job runs
Four steps, and you see the number before any work starts.
- 01
Walk-through
We measure, photograph and mark where spray, wind and shade reach.
- 02
Written estimate
The scope by area, the plant list, access, a start window and the payment stages.
- 03
The work
Our crew plants, thins or builds, and tells you the day if wind or rain moves it.
- 04
Walking it together
We go over the finished work with you, and over how to water it the first season.
Common questions
How much does a garden cost?
It depends on the size of the area, the access, the plants and what has to come out first. We give you a number in writing after a walk-through, and the pricing page lists what moves it.
What happens at the walk-through?
Kaitlyn or Shigeru walks the lot with you. We measure, photograph, mark where spray, wind and shade reach, look at the trees you have and find the irrigation shut-off. The written estimate comes afterward.
What if it rains or the wind is up?
We do not plant in hard wind, and we do not leave open trenches ahead of heavy rain. The crew tells you the new day, and the estimate says how a weather delay is handled.
